What we value in a program

Impact within your field:

We value programs with concrete outcomes that change lives in a meaningful way.   We are not looking to simply inspire or raise awareness, we are looking to make a real impact.

Reaching those most at need:

Whether that’s a marginalized group or an underserved demographic, we want our programs to reach those who need them the most.

Proactive approach:

We favour preventative measures that take a proactive approach to addressing societal issues.

What we value in a donee

Focused on results & committed to growth:

We value organizations that are committed to measuring outcomes and using feedback to continually improve programming.

Fiscally responsible:

When evaluating applications, we look for high impact per dollar and only partner with organizations that keep their overhead and administrative costs in a healthy range.

Open communication:

When we invest in a program we are investing in the people behind it and we want to establish a partnership built on trust. Open communication is key in building that strong relationship.

Transparency:

Our partner charities must have easily accessible financial statements, clear reporting, and openness to share information relevant to programming and operations.
